If you happened to have missed Starbucks most recent campaign, they have joined the (RED) Campaign in an effort to support Aids victims in Africa. For every Holiday Beverage (Gingersnap Latte, Espresso Truffle, Peppermint Mocha Twist) that you purchase, Starbucks will give 5 cents to (RED). Yes, 5 cents may seem like little, compared to the five plus dollars a drink may cost you, but it really is a generous contribution from Starbucks. I forget the logistics, but my shift supervisor was saying that Starbucks annual profit is close to 3% per drink, so it is really giving away half of its profit to (RED) for each Holiday Drink. Not too shabby. The deal lasts until January 2nd, but Starbucks plans to introduce more (RED) products in the New Year. So, go! Support Aids Victims while you support Corporate America - and tell your friends!
